Welcome to M&M, Dave!

I usually don't let vendors plug on the web site, but since you have such a good product and I have lots of respect for what your dad, mom, and yourself did for Ford enthusiasts, I don't mind at all!

I hope you post much more.

What kind of Ford toys do you play with?

High Dave, Welcome to THE site.
I have most of the assembly manuals for my year mustangs. (69-73)
How often do you guys print?
I've had a 71 chassis assembly manual backordered from the Paddock since October.
They keep sending me notices.
Guess I'll have to be patient.
As far as the rest of the books I got,(10 of them so far) these things are great!!
They will be quite helpfull with the four restorations that we are doing.
My friend the body and fender man was quite impressed!
Thank you for putting out a quality product.
And helping all of us in the hobby.

Welcome: Those manuals are long overdue. Why did they take so long to surface? Just curious.

Thanks for all the kind words! as to why these books took so long to surface, well here's the story. My father Jim who passed away 2 1/2 years ago , met alot of people w/Ford over the years and made alot of friends. He had discused this w/some of the Ford people, but no one new where these things were? about 3 years ago the met a woman that worked at Ford archieves for many , many years and she remembered seeing some of these piles of paper w/ that info, but she also didn't know where it was. (Ford archieves is a six story building that is a mile long and full of unmarked boxes). Well of went my dad , spending a month in detroit going thru box after box of everything from toilet paper reciepts to experimental car enginering drawings, needless to say it was quite interesting. He found quite a few assembly manuals that we just destroyed and others that were like new(hense some of the poor quaility pages) . He was not allowed to remove any thing from the building so he was making thousands of photocopies. If it wasn't for my Dad, these things would still be collecting dust!!! as for the 1971 mustang chassis book it was just to far gone to reproduce! We have contacted the paddock and notified them that it will not be availble, (sorry for being the barrier of bad news). you can log on to our website at
www.osborn-reproduction.com and see what is availble.

Thanks for the background info. Talk about archives, whew!! Glad your Dad was able to get them. We bought some decals and stuff from your setup at 35th Anniv. in Charlotte. You have a great selection.

were the cars assembled in the order that the books are printed ?
If not is there any info on what order so I can come close to factory.

Dave, I bet you'd find the '72 chassis manual would be identical.
