Anyone know what the correct plugs are for
a 351C/4V? I looked in a couple of places
and got conflicting info. Most data says
Autolite AP24 and this is what I bought.
(one said AP24 for 4V and AP25 for 2V for '71)
The twist is the the car is a '71, but the
heads are '70 4V (quench) heads. One source
listed different plugs for '70 versus
'71. Any idea which plugs I need?

AF-32 Motorcraft is the best plug for your application. They are available at most FoMoCo dealers and Wal-Mart beleive it or not. Alex

Interesting. AF-32 is listed for the 302.
You're saying that's the best option
for a 351C/4V with '70 closed heads?

The shop manuals list ARF-42 for '71,
I don't have shop manuals for '70.

All the online info says

AP-24 for '71/4V and
AP-25 for '71/2V and '70 2V and 4V
(which seem skind of strange)

I see one of my engine books lists
AF-42
AF-32
AF-22

for the 351-C as options with the list
getting colder (in heat range) as you go
down.

It also lists RF-32 for the Boss 302 for
the street and RF-22 (one step colder)
for the strip.

AF-32 it is! Thanks for the tip!

Went to Wal-Mart the other day.
No Motorcraft, but Autolite, I assume
that is the same thing.
No AF-32, everything was either
just the number or AP-## (for platnium).
Nothing with the number 32.

If you cannot get them e-mail me 71mach. We have them in stock. I carry all FoMoCo HP engine application Motorcraft spark plugs as they are normally difficult to obtain from regular sources. Alex

By the way, ASF-32 (surpressor) or ARF-32 (resistor) will also work. Alex
