I WOULD LIKE TO THANK PAUL AND MIKE FOR THEIR COUNTLESS
HOURS OF HELPING ME BUILD MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a picture of my first car. It was a 1976 Cougar XR7. I traded my highschool auto teacher my parents blown up Tempo for it! The car was not worth fixing, but I fixed it anyway. The floors were made of freezer doors I found at the dump. I used two 4x8" sheets of sheetmetal, pop-riviting the body back together. The paint job was slick, and hid most of my learning curve body work! I raced 6 engines and 4 transmissons though it before it died hard! My parents have a long twisting driveway. My father and I met mid way on ice. My dad's Dodge P/U smashed the front end off the Cougar, and came to rest with his tires on my windsheild! After that I bought my first II, and the rest is history!
