My 1970 Mach 1

On August 15, 2008 my brother Mike, friend Tony and I dropped the 351C 4V into the Mach, after carefully protecting the finish.

The fenders were protected with quilts, and we taped cardboard in the engine compartment.

This worked very well, because after the engine was in room was so tight the cardboard was actually
pinched in several areas, but neither engine nor aprons were marred. The exhaust manifolds cleared by a whisker.

The 351C 4V sits and awaits it's new home. My friend Tony is on the left, I'm at the bench prepping something.

Sitting pretty.

Mike adjusts the hood.

Nice job Mike! Starting to look more like a car now. Notice Mike's cool '72 Torino in the background.

On October 29, 2008 we dropped in the NOS CarLite windshield.
The cowl panel is now installed, and everything lines up great.

We still need to add the deck lid stripe and 'Mach 1' emblems to the back.
