My 1970 Mach 1

One of the best parts of restoring a car from California is {in addition to all of the fasteners
loosening easily} all of the parts stay in fairly good condition. For example, the spring on the
left has only been cleaned in this photo. The original color markings of gold, orange, and white
stripes are clearly visible. The spring on the right has been painted black and the color marking
duplicated, which I also did to the spring on the left after this picture was taken.

Of course, all brake parts are new, and all suspension parts were replaced except for the springs.
All hard brake lines were replaced with stainless steel. The flex lines were replaced with new
replacements, although I now wish I had sprung for braided stainless steel lines.
